What a Sunday feels like
Wauwatosa Avenue UMC holds two Sunday morning services. The Modern service has praise music, is family friendly and more casual, and is usually held in the Chapel; the Traditional service has choir, handbells and organ in the Sanctuary. Both rooms are one floor up from the main entrance under the canopy, and both services are also streamed online. Expect about 45 minutes of Bible readings, a sermon, prayer and music. People wear everything from suits and ties to sandals. A staffed nursery takes ages 0-4; children in 4K-5th grade start in worship and go to Kids Church before the sermon. Fellowship and classes run between the services. Park in the lot at 1600 Underwood Avenue.
