What a Sunday feels like

St. Sava lists two Sunday Divine Liturgies at the cathedral on South 51st Street: 8:30 a.m. in English and 10:30 a.m. in Church Slavonic. On some Sundays only one liturgy is served. Vespers is on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. During the school year, Sunday School for students aged 3 to 18 meets from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. between the two liturgies, or after the liturgy when only one is served. The church says the Divine Liturgy is designed for the entire family and encourages parents to bring their children. The parish choir sings the responses at the Church Slavonic liturgy every Sunday.
