What a Sunday feels like

St. Mark’s holds Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The 8 a.m. is simple and spoken, with space for silence, and lasts around 35 to 45 minutes. The 10 a.m. is a full choral Eucharist with lively, eclectic music. Enter through the red doors on Hackett Avenue; an usher hands you a bulletin with the readings, responses and when to sit, stand and kneel. Some people wear jeans; some dress up. All baptized Christians may receive Communion; anyone not yet baptized may cross their arms for a blessing. Guests are not expected to give. Coffee and treats follow the 10 a.m. service.
