What a Sunday feels like
St. John's holds two Sunday services in different styles, with the same sermon and readings at both. Divine Worship at 8:00 a.m. is relaxed and liturgical, with mostly traditional hymns and organ. Living Praise Worship, at 10:30 a.m. (9:30 in summer, per the church calendar), has song leaders and a mix of hymns and contemporary Christian music on piano. A nursery in the Welcome Center is for younger children and children with special needs. Guests are asked to fill out a Connect Card and told not to feel obligated to give. Holy Communion is offered to members and to members of WELS or ELS congregations; others are invited to talk with a pastor.
