What a Sunday feels like

At the Holy Assumption site on West Orchard Street, Sunday Mass is at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. On Saturday evening there is confession at 6:00, a rosary in Spanish at 6:15 and a Mass in Spanish at 7:00. The parish describes the Mass in two parts: the Liturgy of the Word, with Scripture readings, a sung psalm and a homily, then the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The Nicene Creed is recited each Sunday. The parish says Catholics who have received First Holy Communion may receive unless in a state of mortal sin. Non-perishable food and toiletry donations for the food pantry can be left at the back of the church before Mass.
