What a Sunday feels like
Sunday worship starts at 9:30am in the sanctuary. The service is liturgical, follows the church year and uses a hymnal; it lasts a little over an hour, and the church says it is easy to follow, or you can simply sit and listen. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday; anyone not yet instructed in, or not sharing, the congregation's LCMS confession is asked to speak with the pastor first, and may stay seated or come to the rail for a blessing. Nobody will make you stand up to be recognized, and visitors are not expected to give in the offering. Beyond basic modesty there is no dress expectation, and little children's noise is welcome.
Outside of basic modesty, there are no expectations for how you look or dress. Our people wear casual clothing, suits, dresses, business casual, and almost everything in-between. If you're satisfied in how you're dressed, then we are, too!
