What a Sunday feels like
The Divine Service is Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at 5335 W. Oklahoma Ave. It strictly follows the Lutheran Service Book, with the congregation singing from the hymnal, led by the organ. Holy Communion is celebrated every week. Only members of Trinity/OALC or another LCMS congregation receive it; others are welcome to kneel at the rail and cross their arms across their chest to receive a blessing. There is no specific dress code; the church asks only that you avoid anything inappropriate or revealing. There is a nursery, and children's noise is welcome in the service. Sunday School meets weekly at 9:45 a.m.
While we seek to dress in a way that confesses and reflects the reality that the Triune God is actually present in our midst, there is no specific dress code. We simply ask that you refrain from wearing anything that is inappropriate or revealing.
