What a Sunday feels like
Worship with Holy Communion is on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at 9235 W. Bluemound Rd., and the same service is shared on Zoom and YouTube. The church describes a relaxed and friendly atmosphere: it follows the traditional pattern of Lutheran worship, with confession, preaching and communion, and sings some old hymns and some newer songs. Wear whatever you are comfortable in; t-shirts, suits, jeans and dresses are all usual. Anyone is welcome to receive communion. Education for all ages follows at 10:15. There are two parking lots, off Bluemound Road and off St. Paul Avenue, which most Sundays fill by worship time, and street parking on 93rd and St. Paul.
"The simple answer is: whatever you're comfortable wearing. On any given Sunday, you'll likely see t-shirts and suits, jeans and nice dresses, and at least one Wisconsin sports team jersey at MLC."
