What a Sunday feels like

Lake Park holds two Sunday services: 8am in the Chapel and 10am in the Sanctuary. The 8am is casual: volunteers read the lessons, the sermon is open for discussion, and communion is shared in a circle around the table. The 10am is led by clergy and lay leaders with organ, guitar, piano and sometimes drums, and closely follows the bulletin liturgy. Each has a children's sermon. Everyone is welcome at communion; to receive a blessing instead, leave your hands folded or at your side. Wine and grape juice are both served. Nursery care for ages 6 months to 5 years is offered at both services.
