What a Sunday feels like
House of Prayer worships on Sunday at 9:15am, and the service takes about an hour. The building is all on one level. Someone will greet you and give you a bulletin, and you can sit anywhere. Music ranges from traditional hymns to guitar folk to contemporary, with the words projected on a screen; the pastor tells you when to sit or stand. At the Sharing of the Peace people walk around greeting one another, but you can stay in your spot. All baptized people are invited to Communion; you can stay seated or ask the pastor for a blessing. There is no dress code.
