What a Sunday feels like
Sunday worship is at 10:00 a.m. In summer it is held outside on the church's front steps; chairs are provided, or bring a lawn chair. The main door opens onto 2nd Street, with a second entrance at the back of the building. Dress however you are most comfortable. Music ranges from contemporary gospel to spirituals and reggae. Children take part in the whole service: families are invited to sit in the front pews beside a play space with tables and craft supplies, and children are invited up for a children's message. Communion is celebrated every Sunday and everyone is welcome to receive; grape juice and gluten-free wafers are offered.
Please dress however you are most comfortable. It doesn't matter to us! People in their Sunday best sit next to people experiencing homelessness; kids wear baggy shorts and adults wear khakis.
